    He has a positive, can do attitude!
    his power is being able to amplify other people's powers
    his weapon is a sword and shield
    

Lie Ren

    Ren is the quiet, thoughtful member of JNR
    he is really good friends with the 3rd member of JNR, Nora
    Ren's power is that he can detect/mask people's emotions
    his weapon is dual pistols with Grappling knives attached
    

Nora Valkyrie

    Nora is the strong, happy, and emotionally charged member of JNR
    like Yang, she is also an enjoyer of kicking ass! 
    Her power is damage absorption, which she then can dish back out to her enemies
    her weapon is a hammer that doubles as a grenade launcher
    (as her motto states: "Be strong and hit stuff!")
    

Qrow Branwen

    Qrow is Ruby and Yang's Uncle who has a dark past
    He copes with this past through crippling alcoholism
    his power is bad luck (which also affects his allies)
    his weapon is a big buster sword/scythe that is also a shotgun
    

Oscar Pine

    Oscar is a kid RWBY and company find during their adventure
    he's kind, smart, and confident
    but he also has a very powerful secret he keeps hidden
    his power is the aforementioned secret he hides from team RWBY
